Typical malaysian mentality..

Malaysians practically worship the whites.


"Whites are definitely better looking than asians."

So they say..

And yes, the asians themselves admit to that statement.

Which I think is absolutely ridiculous.


This is why the whites hold more power than the asians.

We do not even support our own people.



And there we go complaining that we do not earn enough respect from the whites, making huge fuss when the whites make negative comments about us.

I would say that we do deserve such comments and i don't blame them for saying them.


Billboards, posters, advertisements,runways.. all taken up by the whites..

Why?
We say it is because there are hardly any malaysian models.


When we actually DO use malaysians models on the runways, we make bad comments like

" the models aren't hot at all, tak best.."

" no worries, you didn't NOT miss much"

" models look so-so only"

(comments taken from a forum for malaysian photographers. they were comparing the shows done by malaysian models and the white models)


Wtf?

Firstly, models ARE NOT beauty queens.. so please do not simply make comments about our looks.

We have our own character and are different and unique in looks.

That is why we are called models.

If we are meant to look all pretty, then we would all be Miss Malaysia.

Why do you think on runways, local and international, models don't usually smile like those you see on beauty pageant shows?

it.is.because.we.are.models.and.not.beauty.queens!!


and yes, you're photographers, you should know the difference between the two.

Please be more professional!!

Learn to appreciate your own culture!!


I can see the beauty in all asians, as well as the whites.

Why can't you?

I'm not being bias and only counter attacking the comments said because i am one of the malaysian models.

But even if i was not a model, i would not make comments like those.

And for the fact that i actually know the models and have seen them face to face, i do not think that any of them are ugly.


For those who made those bad comments, you should be ashamed of yourself.
